What inspires you? For myself and others, I create joyful homes that give off warm, inviting feelings in every room. Comfortable plus elegant. Livable plus luxury. A home touches generations. It isn’t a museum. It’s a place where family stories unfold. I’m truly honored and blessed to be a part of helping others make their memories and preserve their traditions in space over time. I’ve been privileged to serve hundreds of clients for more than two decades and counting.
My grandfather once said “You'll never work a day in your life if you love what you do.” Pa was right. That’s exactly how I feel. I love what I do. Love it.
How do you do it all, from full home design and custom builds to finish decor? I wear comfortable shoes, have faith, and have fun. I’ve always felt that “no job is too big” with a healthy dose of “I can and I will.” I set intentions, followed by actions. And to this day, I work side-by-side with the most talented, experienced teams, trades, and industry pros. Transformations galore, whatever it takes. The butterfly in our logo says it all. Out of a shell comes glory, as I like to say — with ease and grace.
What’s the one thing you hear most often about your homes? My homes are unique. I love creating spaces where people thrive. Seeing something in my mind’s eye and then making it come to life. Finding the right and perfect land. Drawing and designing. Answering the need for efficiency, function, and sustainability. Folding in the latest materials, technologies, and techniques. It’s all about the “aha” moment when processes and plans come together, and I watch someone fall in love with their new home.
What do you do in your free time? Simple and magnificent things. Sharing time with my amazing husband and our blended family. I love to hunt down waterfalls, boat, fish, hike, read, and listen to great music. I’m passionate about gourmet cooking and baking. Anything that helps me learn and grow, connect in the community, and experience nature. Did I mention I love chocolate?
